Another Niece, Hooray!

Three cheers for new nieces. My friend turned sister-in-law, Lianna, gave birth on Thursday to a sweet little girl named Pearl Elizabeth. She was 8 pounds 1 ounce, 20 inches long, and she's got copious amounts of BLONDE hair!

(and she really rocks a faux-hawk)

In other news, I was on my way to work the other morning, turning left behind a landscaping truck. They must have taken the corner a little too quick because a lawnmower went flying off the side and rolled across the lane. It didn't hit anything or anything... I just thought it was funny. Lawnmowers flying through the air. Also, a guy at my work the other day asked if I was wearing a rosary. Apparently a rosary is a beaded necklace type of thing, so I could understand his confusion. Kind of. Last but not least, I have a new favorite snack THAT I CAN ACTUALLY MAKE. Thanks, Pioneer Woman, for yet another delicious and easy recipe. Check it out here.

The end.

  1. She's adorable. I really like the name Pearl.

And my dad used to make the Egg in a Holes for us. They used to make them on his mission. They are delicious.

  2. Egg in a Hole! I saw those about 6 years ago in a magazine but I HATE eggs so I never bothered making them. I am seriously trying to find a man to marry that loves eggs and pancakes because those are my top two favorite things to cook but also my top two least favorite things to eat!!!

Also, about the lawnmowers - that's hilarious.

  3. toad in a hole. de-licious. and i tried to post the pics last night, but it didn't work. so there. they're up now. sheesh...
